By using F!nSights you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older.

Information only

F!nSights is a budgeting and tracking tool. Its figures are estimates and general information. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or CPF advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.

No money moves through the app

F!nSights shows who owes whom but never holds, sends or receives money. You settle up directly with each other, for example by PayNow or cash.

Fair use

Some features, such as reading receipts and statements, have monthly limits so the service stays available for everyone. We may limit accounts that misuse the service.

Launch offer and changes

The launch offer may change, and we may stop the service, with 30 days' notice in the app.

Your responsibilities

Keep your sign-in details safe and keep backups of your on-device data. Keep your cloud backup passphrase or recovery code safe — we cannot recover it. Restoring a backup replaces the data on that device. No restore can be undone. Once another member has acknowledged a group expense, removing it needs approval from all other members; it keeps counting in balances until removed. Settle up before leaving a group; pending removal requests must be resolved before leaving or deleting a group. Only a group's creator can delete it, once everyone is settled. Do not copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the app or its content.

Closing your account

Request account deletion in Settings. There is a 14-day grace period during which you can cancel in Settings; signing in alone does not cancel the request. After that period, the daily deletion process permanently removes your account and associated server data as described in the privacy policy. Remove on-device copies and downloaded backups yourself. A one-way email marker is retained to prevent repeated free trials.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, F!nSights and its owner are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, lost on-device data, or reliance on its figures.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
